Frequently asked questions

1. How can I order online?

At Belgian Blenders you can either order online, by fax or by phone. Prices and conditions are shown in your shopping basket –so no surprises afterwards. Prices shown include taxes (VAT). Unless indicated otherwise, we also include excise duties for deliveries outside the European Union.

Companies ordering from shop.belgianblenders.com will receive an invoice if they make the request during the ordering process. The confirmation of the order includes all necessary information for its use and also the bill. You will also be able to track your order online.

During the ordering process, you will get plenty of opportunities to provide information regarding the desired delivery date, messages, special instructions and the like. We ask you to provide us with as much information as possible, so that we can personalise your order, and - if necessary - pay special attention to certain needs.

It is also possible to send packages to multiple delivery destinations in the same order. For large orders we are happy to enter all the necessary information for you. Just send an e-mail or a fax to +32 (0)51 69 68 37.

Password Copy and Paste

For security reasons, it is not possible to copy and paste passwords. If you do paste something in the “confirm password” field, it will be the last item you copied to your clipboard in your browser.

2. How about VAT, taxes and transport costs, and other pricing issues?
General guidelines

All prices are quoted excluding delivery charges, but inclusive of VAT. Import duties are always included in the price, unless otherwise stated during the ordering process.

Pricing policy

Listed prices are calculated based on less than 10 packages per destination. If you are interested in larger quantities of a certain product or larger deliveries for one single location, please contact us by e-mail for a personalised quote.

Delivery charges

Orders that are picked up at Frucon² NV in Ardooie are exempt from delivery charges. The exact delivery charges depend on the destination, and will always be notified as separate items in your shopping basket. No surprises when you finalise your order.

Currency and billing

All prices are quoted and invoiced in the euro. We will only send invoices on request. You will have the opportunity to provide your VAT number during the ordering process.

3. What payment options do I have?
Online payments

We currently accept the following credit cards: American Express, VISA and MasterCard. We work with Ingenico (formerly Ogone), a PCI-approved payment provider, to maximise the safety of your payments. We do not store your credit card information in our database.

If you have a Belgian bank account, you can also pay via PayPal, Maestro and Bancontact. Belgian companies can apply for payment after receipt of the invoice, or can pay by credit card or direct debit. Contact us for more details.

Offline payments and orders

Although we do our utmost to provide you with secure payment over the Internet, some customers may prefer to order by fax or by phone during office hours, and communicate information related to their credit card. 4. How do I track the status of my order?

We will send your order through a professional delivery service. You can find the tracking number of your order in your account. If you encounter problems, do not hesitate to contact our customer service. However, we will keep track of the order and will notify you, should there be any problem with your delivery.

5. What are the delivery procedures?

Please indicate the exact delivery date when you enter your order.

Recipient not at home

In case the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery, we can do the following:

  • Leave a message on the door, asking the recipient to contact the delivery service to arrange a suitable time.
  • Leave the order on the spot. We will only do this if we consider this to be safe, and if it is clear that the recipient will not be gone for long.
  • Deliver at another time. If we have no other choice than to opt for this action, additional fees may be charged.

The actions that we choose to take in the absence of the recipient depend on the carrier. Not all transport companies will leave an order with the neighbours or at the location.

To avoid problems, we ask your permission to call the recipient in advance to arrange a suitable delivery time. If the recipient is at work all day, we recommend you to send the order to their work address.

No delivery due to delay, incorrect or incomplete address

Please make sure that the address and local phone number you have given us are correct and complete. We will not take responsibility for non-delivery or delay in the delivery if it is the result of an incorrect or incomplete address. In this case, the return costs will be borne by the customer. If desired, the package can be delivered at an alternate address, and in that case we will only charge the additional shipping costs.

6. What about returning products?

Belgian Blenders aim to satisfy all customers. Suggestions and complaints can be sent to us by e-mail and will be answered ASAP.
The return policy does not apply on products that have specially been made according to your preference or are clearly destined for a specific person, are perishable or have a short shelf life, or products that cannot be returned if the seal has been broken for sanitary or health reasons. We do not accept COD packages.

7. Who can order?

If you are a person under the age of 18, please state the name of one of your parents in the billing field. Then clearly state in the field “Order information” that one of your parents gave you permission to place the order.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have further questions.
